Naughty Man's Plaything — Tessa MacDermot

Whilst picking nettles today for soup, I remembered that a plant-lore name for them is "Naughty Man's Plaything", (where the naughty man is a euphemism for the devil.) This picture is very far removed from the risqué image that immediately springs to mind when I think of that name.
